SOK Hy is a Phnom Penh – based Commercial Lawyer, presently, he concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate, Business and Investment Transactions, Banking and Real Estate Laws, Intellectual Property and International Arbitration Law. SOK’s performance in banking, he has provided legal consultation and guidelines in the Credit Department in the areas of Loan Facilities, Corporate and Personal Guaranty and Security Mortgage Matters and Escrow Transaction. SOK’s performance in the intellectual property area focuses on building and protecting of value in clients’ products and services through trademark and copyright protection, as well as related licensing, exclusive distribution and manufacturing agreement. SOK’s work in corporate, business and investment law focuses on sale & purchase businesses Transactions, investment joint venture, setting up a new corporate and transfer of stock, asset or merger transactions, entity formation and employment related matters. SOK’s performance in the real estate area includes the acquisition, sale and project development of real estate. SOK’s work in international arbitration law is to represent the clients through the Arbitral Proceedings and assist and represent to enforce the Foreign Arbitration Award in Cambodia. SOK Hy also devotes his time to provide his experienced practice and legal advices to all individual and company’s clients as well as pays his social contribution as a volunteer legal consultant to a non-profit organization.

More than the career of commercial lawyer, SOK Hy is also qualified by law to be a Notary Public of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He is one of the Founders and lead the Notary Firm called PEANEACH NOTARY PUBLIC ( PNP) as the President of the firm. SOK's performance in the Notary Firm is to consult and protect the interest of both - national and international customers in which certain services such as Investment, Will, Security Agreement and other Notarization under the scopes and duties of the Notary Public which regulated by laws are widely provided to local and international customers.
